LinkUp Teletherapy was founded by two therapists, Tracie Beckmann M.S.CCC-SLP, a speech therapist, and Janet Kickham PT, a physical therapist, both from Missouri. Tracie and Janet have worked together for 20+ years and have over 25 years of therapy work experience in a variety of settings. With this work experience and personal experience as mothers, Tracie and Janet see teletherapy as an effective, accessible, and engaging way to meet today’s students where they are in the classroom. Through Tracie’s work as a speech teletherapist in the schools, she has seen first hand the excitement of the students during their teletherapy sessions and at times them not wanting to end their session!
CONTRACT PARTNERS
Becky, Lead SLP in MO and CA
Becky partners with LinkUp as the Lead SLP in Missouri and California School Districts. She began her post-secondary career at Fontbonne University, attended Mizzou for her graduate degree, and graduated in 2015. She has previously worked in a private clinic with contracts to schools and daycares for years prior to switching to homecare. Becky began partnering with LinkUp in November of 2022, where she has progressed to becoming Lead Speech-Language Pathologist for districts in California and Missouri. In addition to her responsibilities of being a Lead SLP, she carries a full caseload of her own!
Lauren has partnered with LinkUp Teletherapy since 2023 and has taken on a Lead Speech-Language Pathologist role for an Illinois School District. She has been a practicing clinician since May 2016 and received a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Lauren has had multiple experiences within her career including working in a local private practice providing family-centered care to children ranging in ages from 1-18 years, a clinical instructor in the Department of Applied Health at SIUE, and transitioned to an outpatient rehabilitation program evaluating and implementing evidence-based practice to adult patients. She enjoys fostering new relationships with district staff, and providing quality telepractice services to the students!
Lauren, Lead SLP in MO and IL
Casey, Clinical Director
Casey is a licensed and ASHA-accredited pediatric Speech Language Pathologist with extensive experience spanning newborns through high schoolers. Throughout her career, she has primarily worked as an educational therapist in Missouri and Illinois since 2010. Casey’s expertise covers a wide range of areas, including articulation and language delays and disorders, feeding and swallowing, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). She has worked in diverse settings, from one-on-one sessions to inclusive classrooms and fully special education environments.
Since 2018, Casey has been an integral part of the LinkUp team, serving as the company’s Clinical Director. Her responsibilities include facilitating the onboarding process, leading monthly team meetings, maintaining LinkUp’s trainings and resources, and providing valuable insights into school-based therapy, the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process, Medicaid billing, and AAC funding.
Lauren is not a treating SLP herself, but is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant where she has worked in nursing homes, acute care, and outpatient clinical settings. In these environments, she focused on improving the patient’s physical abilities to be able to return to their prior level and improve their overall quality of life. She continues to practice in physical therapy, but also works as a Business Office Manager for a small construction company as well as being the Administrative Assistant for LinkUp Teletherapy. She assists with the onboarding process, license compliance, aiding in important communications between LinkUp owners and SLPs, compiling charts and spreadsheets for effective tracking in multiple facets of the company’s needs, completing individual projects as requested, and anything else that she is asked to do! Lauren has worked for LinkUp since 2023 and has enjoyed the flexibility of working from home!

Adrienne, The Atlas Group Recruiter
Adrienne is the owner and operator of The Atlas Group which partners with LinkUp to provide recruiting services. With over 20 years of experience in talent acquisition, Adrienne is known for her ability to design efficient, growth-driven recruitment processes. Her expertise also extends to interview training, conducting hiring audits, and coaching job seekers to help them succeed in finding roles that align with both their professional goals and personal lifestyles.
Since partnering with LinkUp’s Teletherapy recruitment team in 2024, Adrienne has been passionate about guiding candidates through the job search process, ensuring they find positions that truly fit their expertise and aspirations. While not a treating SLP herself, she finds great satisfaction in supporting candidates during such a significant transition.
